Two individuals are facing counterfeiting charges after Pincher Creek RCMP were tipped off to the whereabouts of the suspects.
Keely Edwards, 42, and Tyler Chislett, 28, are both charged with offences including Uttering Counterfeit Currency, Making Counterfeit Currency, Forgery, Possession of Credit Card Data, and Possession of Government Issued Documents.
The two were allegedly manufacturing and spreading counterfeit currency throughout Pincher Creek and Crowsnest Pass.
RCMP recieved information as to the identity and the whereabouts of the parties involved.
A search warrant was executed at a motorhome in Pincher Creek, where police recovered counterfeit currency, equipment for manufacturing counterfeit documents, stolen identification documents, and several pieces of credit card information.
The pair are scheduled to appear in court in Pincher Creek later this month.
